My name is Carol Janine Koopman better known as CJ. I’m a freelance interviewer at Lockdown Radio.

I believe that every person can do great things if they put their minds to it. I have a strong work ethic and even stronger organizational skills.

As a young girl I was very involved in singing, dancing and acting, sadly I never made it my profession. I have a background in radio presenting and compiling shows.

I have a NQF level 5 Degree in Generic Management and I’m currently working in sales.

I love working with the youth of Atlantis, forming young minds one child at a time. I help run a NPO teaching our youth about the arts and keeping them occupied with positive activities. I was nominated in 2019 by the community in the Honor Her Awards.

I live with my partner and I have 2 biological children. Jodeci, 17 and in Matric, Alexa 9 months old and Ryan, 17 is my stepson and in Grade 10.

Robin flies this one solo - with his wife making cameo appearances. We hear from many expat South Africans about their lockdown life experiences and there's an array of well-known homegrown talent on the programme too.

Ricky Jansen is a DJ and Remixer in the genre of house and commercial  tracks. Played in clubs like Pigalles ,Rendevous and Hotspot during the late 90s.Doing mobile gigs in between and present.Compiled and mixed old skool tracks for Kia Johnson s late night show on Radio 2000 between 2014 and 2016.Growing up listening to Stevie Wonder UB40 Kool and the Gang etc before showing interest in Dance Music.

A Forensic analyst by trade, Riccardo fell in love with English Football in 1986 when watching Liverpool playing. His favourite players at the time was John Barnes and Peter Beardsley.

The love grew for this football game and he  joined the Official Liverpool Supporters Club in 1999.

The Supporters Club went through some up and downs as the Anfield Arms in N1 City closed its doors.   In 2011 he  tried to rebuild the Supporters Club and it grew to over 1200 active members. He  was then selected as the Chairperson of the Supporters Club of the Cape Town

making it an Official Supporters Club Affiliated to Liverpool Football Club.

Soon after, he got involved in Radio being asked to come to different studios to give his input and analysis on the English Premier League, having featured on Heart Fm with Nick Feinberg, as well as The BBC Radio Africa giving his input on the beautiful game.  As the resident sports

A BMA graduate from the Jerusalem academy of music Israel- in Music theory and Conducting, a Juilliard NYC BMA graduate in classical piano performance, and a triple year acting diploma from Nissan Native acting studio in Israel by the age of 27. Started playing the piano at the age of 4, international competitions starting at 9 years old and endless performances evolving piano playing untill the glorious COVID19. 1st Prizes winner in Germany, Italy, Russia, Israel, had performed multiple recitals and orchestra concerts in Mexico, Russia, Canada, Israel, a continuously grants winner during the years 1998 through 2007 of America – Israel Cultural Foundation, participated in chamber music festivals in USA and Israel, in master classes with international 1st class pianists, in live broadcasts and recordings in the radio in Israel, New York and more. When finished acting school, I came up with a character named Licia- The Old Creaky Pianist, who combines piano playing with comedy, singing with circus acting and aerial acrobatics. Licia has been performing in indoors and outdoors theaters, stand up comedy concerts and in the last three years Licia has been participated in numerous talent TV shows in Italy, Romania, China, Germany and Israel winning prizes and reaching different stages. Apart from Licia I've been participating in a variety of theatre productions where I mostly combined either singing, piano and accordion playing. Today I'm focusing on singer song writing, exploring arrangements of different popular songs with classical pieces and with my own original electronic beats.

My dream is coming up with a master plan of inventing new multi talent language of performing arts combinations shows.

Ashley "DRIFT KLD" Nkgwe is a rapper who discovered himself lyrically in Klerksdorp, North West.  He moved from Klerksdorp to Atlantis, Cape Town through work and now is a happily married man with a family, a music career to look forward to and of course a developing radio DJ career as well.

He's always loved music in general but hip-hop always stood out due to the relativity and realness and that is when I knew this was my calling and I eventually answered the call at he age of 16 when I got involved in a rap battle in High School.

My audience is basically everyone that can relate because I don`t just make music about making money and living the life. I focus on everyday occurrences and encounters.

My inspiration is honestly drawn from life itself. The reason I say that is because I take my time to write about the real stuff and try not to be swallowed by material raps which is a common trend.

My following is mixed up, so even people that don`t normally listen to Hip-Hop end up saying "Dude you`re talented, where do I find more of your material". My predominant audience at this point is up coming artists like myself, producers, friends, family and international upcoming artists too.
